About who needs care: Mom has autoimmune disease and mobility issues. She cant do housework and could use assistance with general tasks. About the care needs: Very detailed person who is good at taking directions. Mom has specific needs when it comes to cleaning. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

About who needs care: Our mother has been living independently at home, but is now quite weak following recovery from Covid. Her specific desire at this point is in-home meal preparation and assistance with light household needs. The engagement could evolve as needs change. Our mother has always loved gardening, travel, community service, her church family, and Hillsdale College programs and events. She has been fortunate to have good health and, as a widow, has lived independently for over 20 years in the home she and our father built in 1957. Due to her advanced age she knows that even after full recovery she will want and/or need additional assistance to remain in her home. About who needs care: My grandmother is 89, just about to to turn 90. Her feet are damaged from a lifetime of poor care, its very difficult for her to walk. She also has a very hard time remembering how many pills shes taken each day (pain medication & one for ankle swelling). About the care needs: She needs someone kind but not a pushover. Shes fairly stubborn & loves to talk about the past. Her sense of humor is slightly crude, but she has a very proper exterior. If a caregiver was also interested in sewing (hopefully already knows how to), quilting, talking about the Depression era, or cooking, my grandmother would like that. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: He is mute and unable to speak. He needs assistance with completing his tube feedings, he is not able to physically do it himself. The tube feedings take 1 hour per feeding and he needs them three times per day. About the care needs: Needs to be able to learn tube feeding protocol. He loves working outside and takes his lawn care seriously. He is fiercely independent. A good fit is someone who is patient. He can be irritable at times but overall is kind.

About who needs care: I'm a 72-year-old power wheelchair user as a result of cerebral palsy. Only my legs are affected. I use a sit to stand lift for transfers in and out of my wheelchair. My care typically takes 1. 5 hours in the mornings and 1 hour in the evenings About the care needs: I am not picky when it comes to caregivers or people in general. I get along with everybody.
