We need hands-on care to take care of my father who is wheelchair-bound in Gulf Shores. He has advanced Parkinson's and suffered a stroke requiring extensive brain surgery back in 2019. He is approx 210 lbs and is a DNR on palliative care. He is a very gentle and kind person and enjoys caregiver's that will engage in chat, play games, go for strolls. My parents are moving to an Independent Living facility in Gulf Shores starting Sept 1. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. He needs help with bathing, toileting, dressing. He is a one-person transfer from wheelchair to recliner/bed/toilet. We have a sit-to-stand lift for this and/or gait belt to assist with these transfers, training will be provided. Looking for a caring and compassionate caregiver who is comfortable with 2 cats.
