Branford Personal Assistant Jobs

Seeking care for my husband in his 60s. Services needed: mobility assistance. No prior experience required. A little more about my husband: he can be lethargic, pleasant. I'm looking for someone who is patient, strong, fond of pets. I will be make doctors appts. My husband was in the hospital yesterday and they have found a mass in his lung. He had bladder cancer in 2018 that infiltrated his kidney so he has one kidney. None of this is good news so I will be needing so help.

Our dad is 78 and was fully independent until COVID. He lives with us but we both work. We would like to get him out of the house twice a week for errands and hobby purchases. This could be going to Lowe's, Walmart, hobby lobby or similar crafting stores. Grocery stores like Winn Dixie or Publix or ALDIs. He has mobility issues but when out n about running errands he uses a lightweight scooter or a lightweight wheelchair. He has balance issues so someone needs to assist lightly on transfers. He has a speech issue from being intubated two years ago but is very easy to understand. If you are a patient, kind and crafty person, you would be perfect for our dad. Our days/hours are not set in stone. Arts n crafts. Painting. Design. Working on things. Sewing. Swimming. Parking available. Two small older dogs.

About who needs care: My sister Margaret can take care of her personal hygiene, she is mobile with a walker and manages some household duties but because of her age she needs someone for safety reasons & also for companionship. She cannot drive so grocery shopping, dr. appt's., etc. requires someone to assist her with. About the care needs: Because she is older, she appreciates someone more mature who she can relate and converse with. Attentiveness, reliability and a pleasant personality is a must. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.

About who needs care: Mother has dementia, needs help going to restroom, getting from the bed to the living room. About the care needs: Mother gets along well with most everyone Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: She had a stroke she lost her vision and some mobility on her left side, she is diabetic Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: Need post op, hip replacement, care for 3 - 6 weeks. Probably some help with meals and mobility. Transportation to and from pt appts 2-3 tx a week. About the care needs: Sense of humor. No need to feel like they have to entertain me. Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.

I need senior care provider with experience. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. Personal care required, including feeding. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We might ask you to run errands now and then. We ask that you handle transportation as needed.

My husband and I have been married for 16 years we have 5 children 3 adult children two children under 2 and a we basically are looking for a Mrs Doubtfire. We have 3 successful businesses and are extremely busy however I do work from home a lot of times but I would like to have somebody that can give me a helping hand and basically CO care for my children. Additional needs include light housekeeping, being comfortable with pets, having a reliable car, a non-smoker. We could use help with structuring activities and homework or curriculum assistance.
