Help needed for my mother in her 70's (with Alzheimer's) and father in his 80s (active and healthy, fairly independent)- seeking part-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light house work is involved but no meal preparation is required. Assistance with bathing my mother (2 times a week) is one of our requirements. We're looking for a senior caregiver to provide companionship and general assistance to my mother during the day as this will help my father have some free time as he is her primary caregiver. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, extremely patient and experienced with dementia patient as well as has CPR / first-aid certification/training.

Enjoys theater, music, novels, and classic television. Common interests are not necessary. She gets along with most people, just wants to be treated well and safe in her own home. My little superstar is energetic, curious, and loves to talk with people, even in baby language. Although, she chooses when she wants engage, and we try really hard to honor that. I am a work from home mom and I need a Sitter to play with my little toddler while I get some work done. It would be for a short period of time, like three hours for two times a week. .
