About who needs care: Had a stroke July 2021. Left arm & left leg paralyzed. Is bedridden. Can feed herself & speak normally. Some short term memory issues. Can lift herself some when being changed/ using bed pan. Under Hospice care, but not at end of life stage. An aide comes daily Monday-Friday to bathe her & nurse comes once a week. I need someone approx 20 hrs p/wk -feed her at lunch. Hours flexible. (8a-12p, 9a-1p, 10a-2p etc.). No chores or errands.
Just change her, fed her, & watch tv. Her hospital bed is in the living room.
About the care needs: She is small. Approx. 100 -105 lbs. They need to be able to change her (she wears a Depends and then a hospice brief placed over that (or do a bed pan if caregiver is comfortable doing one. If not, just changing her is fine.) Reposition her if she needs pulling up in bed (has electric hospital bed) and feed her lunch. Eats light- like sandwiches or heating up food in microwave. No cooking a big meal required. No cleaning or house keeping required. Just place dishes in kitchen sink. No errands.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
