Somerville Palliative Care

I am currently furloughed from my work as a bartender at the Majestic Grille due to covid. I have a passion for customer service, and am known to be a people pleaser. I have older parents with health issues, so I do have experience in caring for people with certain needs. Going into high school, my mother decided to bring my grandmother home for hospice care. This instilled the majority of my caretaker tendencies in my life. It was challenging and humbling all in the same. It was through my experiences with my grandmother that I realized the importance of caring for others, and protecting not only their health, but their dignity as an individual. I strived to keep her comfortable and happy everyday. I have a passion for tending to our older generations because of my grandmother, and all of our experiences in her final days. I am looking for positions similar to my experiences. I work well with elders, and assisting them in daily tasks as well as providing companionship.
