About Yvonne

For over 11 years, I've taken care of some very lovely people with Alzheimer's, diabetes, congestive heart failure, blood pressure, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, partial blindness and pulmonary thrombosis and stage 4 cancers. I have assisted clients who were on hospice care, with rehabilitation, administering medications, oxygen, insulin, physical and occupational therapy and finding ways to enjoy each day. Everyone of my clients have become a friend whom I've cherished. This is the most unexpectedly enjoyable work I have ever done and I love it! I feel my role is to meet the needs requiring a caregiver but it is much more. It is to help my clients enjoy each day to the best of their ability and focus on those things and not the disabilities. Most of them in their eighties have had so much to share in wisdom and life experience that I feel blessed to have known them.
