I currently working as an ABA Therapist (B. A.). I work in special education, specifically, with students with Autism and Behavioral issues. This will be my 6th year working in the program. I work during the normal school year, I've provided home services. I've worked with low functioning non verbal students in an individual cubby setting, as well as, high functioning students in full inclusion. I assist in their A. P. E. (applied phys-ed), O. T., and Speech Therapy classes, and transition these items into their everyday routines. I assist with E. D. L.'s (every day living), items into their routines such as: potty training, brushing teeth, washing face/hands, changing, among other critical life skills. I take daily data, and run maintenance as well, this includes summing data. I'm also CPI certified, and occasionally, assist in escorting students away from harmful environments. I also have been babysitting a boy with Autism whom I bring to a sensory gym weekly, and watch him in the afternoons. I love working with kids outside of a school setting.
