I have a Masters degree in Professional Counseling and have experience working with children ages six and up. My clinical specialty is trauma counseling, and I have worked extensively with children others consider "difficult" when the truth is that they haven't found a way to communicate their feelings. As a part-time care giver, I would not be giving your child therapy (no worries!). I am a Christ-centered counselor and caregiver who believes that God created your child for a specific purpose, and I have seen over the years how God will transform children from scared and traumatized to over-comers full of confidence. I will not baby your children or talk down to them. On the contrary, I will treat them very much like adults and talk to them with love and respect. I believe that, "healthy boundaries make healthy relationships" and will teach your child the same. I am trained in the "Love and Logic" parenting model which stresses natural consequences over punishment. Govt. TS clearance.
