Hello my name is Vicki I have years of experience working with the mentally challenged , and physically challenged population . My very first experience was with the special education program at my elementary school. I would skip recess and volunteer to work along with the teachers . Over the years I seem to seek some form of caregiver work. Such as child development teacher's aid, bus attendant for DCPS department of transportation . I worked in group homes, drug treatment facilities, shelters, residential homes, ICF facilities . I also worked with foster children my home was therapeutic care for teens. I realized that I continue working with the population because it's my heart and it completes me. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about me. Vicki was a pleasure to work with and a great assistant to my family at the time in need. She was able to help with transportation for my teenager from after school activities and bringing her home. Which allowed me to tend to my toddler with special needs. She also helped out with meal prep and light housework. We are still in touch and she has a good spirit.
