We are grateful for the service that Care.com provides. This invaluable service allows needy families like ours to connect with quality caregivers. My sister and I weren't sure if we would be able to find a needle in a haystack, but we figured we would try. We placed our ad and someone actually responded. We met via video chat and we almost thought this person might be too good to be true because she seemed perfect for what we were looking for! Well, the test came today when we met in person for the first time. Vera is not only a real person, she is kind, personable, has clearly done work as a caregiver before, and we feel very fortunate to have found her! Vera arrived at the desired location early, was conscientious the entire time, and I felt totally confident leaving her w/ my wheelchair-bound family member. I would not hesitate to recommend Vera to anyone that might need her help. I think she could be that needle in the haystack if that's what you're looking for.
