I am a retired Medical Technologist. While working, I came in contact with children at their worst, scared and sick. I have a way of relaxing children when they are stressed; usually by singing very low to them. Along with helping to raise my 10 nieces, I worked 4 years for a dentist keeping his new born daughter. When his baby boy was born I kept them both until the Mother decided to be a stay at home Mom. The brother was a special needs child. I kept a 4 yr old boy for 4 months while his Mom prepared to move out of state. I kept this lady's sister's children for 18 months until her husband lost his job. I kept a newborn in Elizabethton for 4 months until Covid-19 meant both parents would be working from home. I am available to work 2-3 days/week, 8, 10, 12 hour shifts. I am a non-smoker, have previous CPR training, have been vaccinated for Covid. References available upon request.

She has been a wonderful nanny for our baby and our older kids. She has lots of experience with children, including babies, which has made her a great asset to our family of 5. I was worried about getting back to work with a 5 week old in the home, but Vera "Nanny D" made my worries disappear when I witnessed how experienced and careful she is. She is also honest, dependable, and punctual and has been a great help with housework. I highly recommend her.
