Working as an activity leader at Ability First leads me to implement activities to achieve goals of individual service plans which includes promoting language, motor development, and social skills for developmentally and physically disabled children and adults. I prepare materials for daily program activities. I greet participants upon arrival. I help them on and off bus transportation, provide snacks and/ or meals, taking them to the bathroom, as well as changing clothes. I engage and encourage participants in program activities. I monitor and report progress as well as problems. I do daily charting and monitoring of participants ISP goals.
