In the time that I have known Vanessa we have become very close. I have 2 kids, one has developmental delays and sensory disorder, and a pet and I've seen her interact with all 3 many, many times. She definitely has a "mothering" or "caregiver" personality. Her tone and demeanor change appropriately as needed in order to properly navigate different situations. Vanessa is able to challenge the children she is around while remaining kind and supportive and making them feel comfortable. Her extensive experience in childcare shows and you can see that she knows the importance of combining learning and development along with fun and play as well as reinforcing basic manners and learning to be respectful. Vanessa is also an animal lover and it shines through when you see her with her dogs and also when she was caring for our cat. Also, her home is always clean and tidy and I know she puts in even more time and energy when caring for and/or cleaning someone else's home.
