We hired Valerie to care for our daughter part time, which she has been doing for the past 11 months. In her time as a nanny, Valerie has demonstrated her creativity, strong work ethic, and endearing empathy for our daughter. As new parents, we were wary of handing over our 7 month-old to a relative stranger for several hours a day, but Valerie's warm, cheery demeanor together with her confidence and understanding of our needs quickly reassured us that our daughter was in good hands. During her time with us, we have found Valerie to be exceptional in her position as a childcare professional. She has formed a strong, caring connection with our daughter, and the affection she displays reinforces our confidence in her ability. She has planned and executed appropriate developmental activities including outside exercise, art projects and visits to the neighborhood park. Valerie was able to expose our daughter to a variety of experiences while being conscious of COVID-19 restrictions.
