My experience started early on in life when it comes to people with special needs. I grew up next door to a boy around my age with Asperger's. I learned a lot of patience and understanding as a child and it grew into a passion. Seeing a child grasp a new concept is beautiful, especially when that child has a hard time with that. In high school as part of a service program I was a teacher assistant for a early intervention preschool classroom consisting of 5 children with Autism for 2 years.
