About Tyler

As a graduate student, I have an extensive background in mathematics, suitable to virtually any mathematical needs you may have. I will be able to provide you with the in-depth understanding that you need to excel in your mathematics courses! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a 3. 3 GPA in mathematics coursework, as well as a Master of Science in Mathematics with a 4. 0 GPA. I begin PhD coursework in August of 2018 with a focus in Applied Mathematics. I have tutored students as young as 5th grade, and as advanced as junior year university students taking courses in differential equations, linear algebra, and other post-calculus mathematics. I have three years of tutoring experience, both private and in the Lamar University math tutoring lab, and I have taught the calculus sequence as instructor of record. My personal mathematical interests include differential equations, topology, chaos and dynamical systems, mathematical biology, complex analysis, and more.
