I have had the responsibility of caring for other children for about 16 years now. While my experience with caring for others began with family and under some supervision of an adult, my love for children began growing early. In the past, I have worked as a camp counselor for Huntington Woods Day Camp, a Peer Mentor for high school-aged adolescents, residential counselor and most recently I work as an Early Intervention Specialist for University Pediatrician's Autism Center previously called Children's Hospital Autism Center. I am currently attending Wayne State University, where I am in the process of obtaining my M. Ed in Educational Psychology along with a certificate in ABA. My wide range of experience and education has allowed me to work with children as young as a few weeks to 19 years old. I enjoy reading, doing arts and crafts and imaginary play. Getting dirty while having fun is no problem for me. I also enjoy cooking and baking so if it is necessary for me to cook, I absolutely don't mind. When it comes to school, I have no problem with helping with homework. My patience and understanding mixed with my love for others makes me a great option as anyone's child care provider.
