April S. Interviewed Trisha
Trisha?s profile says that she charges $15-50 per hour. At the end of her phone interview, she said she charged $15 for 30 minutes and $30 per hour. That?s double the amount posted on her profile. Even though my job post clearly stated $15-$20 an hour, I agreed to hire her for a 4 day period. We agreed that she would stop by Thursday evening to pick up our key/meet in person, then she would tend to the animals at 10am, 4pm, and 9pm every day. My plans got cancelled for Thursday evening so I texted Trisha, asking if she could just come by Friday morning at 10am and we would give her the key, since she had already agreed to take care of our animals at that time. She said she could not come in the morning and blamed it on her regular client. I was shocked because she had already agreed to come at 10am. I fired her before she even came to my house. She is completely unreliable and I would not recommend her to anyone. Now I have to find a new dog sitter VERY last minute. Very stressful.
