Hello, I take pride in providing the best care possible for my Seniors and their families. My love and passion for seniors began many years ago when I was a teen and worked my first Summer in a nursing home. I formed some very special connections that Summer. During and after college I assisted my mother in caring for my aging Father whose health was declining. I provided ADL (Activities of Daily Living) services. Consequently, as he was diabetic and an amputee I am knowledgeable in diabetic care (helping him check his glucose levels and medication management) as well as helping him ambulate safely around the house. I cared for my Father until his passing several years ago. Since then I have been blessed with some other wonderful families. I provide the same level of services, care, and compassion as I did for my Father. Most recently I cared for an affable, 87-year-old widower with Dementia in the Towson area. Unfortunately, he suffered a stroke a few weeks ago. Therefore, his level of care increased dramatically and his family relocated him to a nursing home indefinitely. While I am sad to no longer be his Caregiver, I take solace in knowing that he is residing in a facility that is able to meet all his medical and safety needs. As for me, I am ready to embark on the next chapter in my Care-giving career. Additionally, I am a mother to an amazing little girl. I enjoy Literature, History, old movies, and lively discussion.
