I am very passionate about children especially in their learning and education. I have taught in various settings from daycare facilities, up to adult learning environments. I am a licensed substitute instructor that has decided to pursue my graduate degree; because I started the program, didn't complete it, and now I once again have that opportunity to do so. Children are such a great joy and blessing: I have had the privilege of caring for my three sons for 22 years and feel that I could impart some of the nurturing, fun, and learning into others.

Tracee interviewed with me awhile ago for a night babysitter position. The interview went well, but I did not hire her at that time; she was my second choice. Tracee applied two more times for the position, the most recent time being just last week. I informed her on Friday that we would love to have her as our babysitter and set up a time to go over all the details of the position and do some training this week. Tracee never indicated that she did not want the position or that she was unsure, she agreed to a time to come to our house so I could show her around and explain my son's schedule. Tracee informed me two hours before she was scheduled to arrive that she was declining the position because she had actually gone on another interview that day and had been accepted for the position. I do not find this behavior appropriate or professional. If you are interviewing for various positions and are unsure of which position you are going to take, you should not accept one position only to decline it at the last minute, it is very unprofessional.
