The experience I have as a housekeeper, is mainly my own home. However, prior to heading back to college quite so many years ago, I worked for a couple as their live-in nanny. I cared for two young children, and also kept up the housekeeping of a 5, 000 sq ft home. As far as my own home goes, I lived for over 10 years in a nearly 3, 000 sq ft home. I kept the house up very well, in addition to working 40+ hours per week and raising my child. I have since sold that house, and now live in a much smaller house, at 1, 032 sq ft.
