My love for animals dates back to when I was a little girl and would help my mom pet-sit. I attended North Carolina State University and obtained a degree in Animal Science. I volunteered at the Equine Unit on NCSU campus where I would care for the horses. I was an intern at the Equine Unit also with their foaling program. During my internship, I learned to care for pregnant mares and help with the foaling process. For 7 years I also worked at a vet hospital where I was a Veterinary Assistant. It is there where I had a lot of clients who wanted a pet/house sitter that they could trust since I was already caring for their pet at the hospital. I also worked in the kennel department there so I have experience with bathing and light grooming as well.
