About Tia

Experience: 10 yrs

COVID-19 vaccinated

I love the fulfillment that caring for the elderly brings to my life. Working with seniors for 17 years has given me various degrees of experience including: Dementia, Alzheimer, clients bed bound with a Hoyer lift to assist out of bed, catheter care, operating oxygen concentrator and portable tanks, wound care, assisting with P/T and O/T, med management per physician's orders, congestive heart failure, hospice care, and more. I was the lead med aide and the lead caregiver at my last in home care job. I am comfortable with all ADL's and hands on personal care that may be needed. I also will provide transportation, light housekeeping duties and cooking meals specific to clients needs. I believe that caring companionship a long with good medical experience while maintaining the clients dignity through all stages of life is important. I prefer day shift Monday-Friday, but I am flexible.

Tia worked for our family for almost 2 years. She became what I would have to call our Lead caregiver. My father had all kinds of medical issues and all kinds of medical appointments. Tia took him to many of those appointments when I could not be there myself. More to the point, Tia monitored my father’s oxygen needs, dispersed medications, interacted with physical therapists, managed oxygen and medical supplies, ordered groceries, prepared meals and much much more. Tia is a very loyal and trustworthy woman. We grew to rely on her. I recommend her without reservation.
