In the past I have taken on many different child care positions. Starting as a weekend night babysitter at age 12. I eventually grew to volunteer at my high school in the Cognitive Disabilities classroom working with all different types of mental and physical disabilities. During these four years I gave an hour or two of my time each day to help out with lunch, classroom activities and lots of times, field trips. Although I have no education experience in my college years, it has always been a passion of mine and I hope that I can still make it a part of my life today. Early on and when I was volunteering in high school I took on many part time babysitting, nannying, pet sitting, and house sitting responsibilities. These included kids from newborn age to age 14. I love spending time with children and make sure that each time I'm hired I have something fun planned to do! At the same time pets have been a huge part of my life and there isn't a single animal I wouldn't like to care for.

Taylor was a student assistant in my classroom working with students with Cognitive Disabilities. She proved to be intuitive, caring, reliable and consistent with the students. The students she worked with ranged in age from 14 to 21 years of age and developmentally from 11/2 years old to a typical high schooler with very low reading and math skills. She was a wonderful assistant.
