December 29, 2014 To Whom It May Concern: I have been asked by Taylor to write a letter of recommendation, and I do so enthusiastically. It has been a pleasure working with her and having her as a second grade teacher. Taylor taught second grade students at St. Peter School for four years. I observed her in the classroom, interacting with students, and outside the classroom with teachers, and parents. She has excellent collaborative skills in her relationships with other adults, and a positive, nurturing manner with the children. In the second grade environment, Taylor motivates the students while having high expectations of them. She has good classroom management techniques and shows concern and respect for each child. She was on our Intervention Assistant Team (IAT). She worked with children who have individual education plans, and lead conferences with parents. In all interactions, Taylor is seen by all of our faculty and me as a very professional, capable, knowledgeable, and flexible teacher who would be an asset to any school or organization.
