I worked for a private Company called First Steps for Kids early Intervention Agency where I worked one on one at school and at home with children with Autism. I teach social skills, language skills, and self help skills to help each child reach their full potential. I am an understanding, adaptable, and responsible graduate seeking an entry-level position in education which will utilize the organizational and communication skills developed through my involvement with special education during the past year. Creating as many opportunities to target behavior goals throughout the day; such as reinforcing sounds to help students with speech and watching as their language improves. I am very passionate about helping kiddos do things that no one thought was possible! Demonstrating patience, understanding, sensitivity and assisting children by providing appropriate modeling, emotional support, and a friendly attitude. I enjoy interpreting learning activities that meet each child's particular learning style and watching as they implement them in their daily life.
