About Tashana

My name is Tashana, I'm a 36-year-old mother of 2 lovely boys. My boys are 14 and 3 years old. I have a West Indian background, born and raised in Jamaica. I am a kindergarten Special Education Teacher for an Elementary school. I enjoy cooking, reading, and listening to music. I love children and my senior citizens it's the big heart that I have to work with children, it brings me joy. Their imagination, honesty, energy, and enthusiasm make the work more rewarding. Which is why I'm in the field working currently because children rely on adults to advocate for their needs and trusting. For senior citizens, I enjoy working with them because they teach me wisdom, some seniors face challenges such as loss of independence or chronic illness and being able to support their dignity, comfort, and quality of life is deeply fulfilling to me.
