I am a recent Master's of Occupational Therapy graduate from Quinnipiac university. I began my degree in Occupational Therapy because I always enjoyed caring for others and helping people to be able to live their lives to their fullest potential. Through many clinical fieldwork experiences, I have cared for children with autism spectrum disorder of varying degrees, children with ADD, ADHD, CP, developmental delay and a variety of other diagnoses. I have carried out ABA behavioral plans with children and sensory integration interventions. I have found a passion working with children through these experiences. I love their excitement and drive to engage in activities. I also love coming up with creative activities to complete with them, which feel fun for them but also works on needed skills. It is very rewarding working with children and seeing them grow and develop. An important aspect of working with a child is also working with their family.
