I have worked for numerous years with both children and adults with special needs in a variety of settings school systems, group homes, and currently in an adult day program. I'm passionate about autism. My life revolves around it, both at home and at work. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with challenging behaviors. My dream is to someday open a child care center for those with special needs. I know firsthand, the challenges in finding a safe and loving environment for those who have "different abilities." I myself, am a mother of three grown daughters, and a son who is on the autism spectrum. I currently work at a well known Connecticut agency. Because I have a child of my own on the autism spectrum, I am looking for a little more flexibility in my life. I love the work I do and the rewards that come from it. I plan on making a difference in this world.
