Hello! I spent a lot of time sitting with my mother during her lengthy illness a number of years ago. I loved to do things that decreased her stress level and made her happy, such as sitting quietly, reading to her, knitting with her, brushing her hair, cooking for her, keeping the house straightened, writing letters, etc. I've also kept other, older friends company and assisted them with small tasks. I'm a great listener, enjoy repetitive conversations .. and long stretches of silence do not bother me. I'm very diplomatic, and I take confidentiality very seriously.
