My name is Tami and I'm a 26-year-old originally from Milwaukee, WI. I'm fully vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine and am CPR certified. I grew up with a very close family friend who is differently-abled, and knew from an early age that this was the population I wanted to work with. I've spent many summers working at a summer camp for children with chronic and/or life threatening illnesses, and am very comfortable providing meals, personal care, social support, academic support, and any other type of support you may need! I know some basic ASL signs and the alphabet. I recently achieved my master's degree in Child Life. After certification I hope to become a Child Life Specialist, bridging the gap between the abled and differently-abled, ideally in a medical camp environment!

We feel so fortunate to have Tami as a sitter for our special needs 20-month-old daughter. Tami eased seamlessly into our daughter's routines and has willingly learned and introduced creative ways of playing and interacting with her. Tami is patient and loving -- even in the most difficult moments! Our daughter feels comfortable and happy with Tami, which is a testament to Tami's natural skill with children and her eagerness to go the extra mile to get to know our daughter.
