I am a Certified Nurse Assistant with 8 years of field experience working with adults and children with special needs and disabilities. Some including Autism and other cognitive disorders. I have also worked with those with diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have also worked as a teacher's aid with children with different behavioral and learning challenges. I am passionate about what I do because, I was blessed to take care of my grandfather who battled cancer years ago and it was then that I realized my true heart for giving care. I have a few family members who require special care as they deal with mental disease and other cognitive disorders. My perspective is more personal and, I understand what it is to entrust someone to care for a loved one who is in a more vulnerable mental/ physical state. I have always loved serving people and, I believe that giving to others is one of the most rewarding gifts. I live to give.
