I have had much experience my whole life working with special needs children. During high school I helped out a lot in the focus room as well as did church camps where I would tend to certain children due to the more needs they had then others. Currently however I work at a special needs preschool with 3 and 4 years olds. Having this experience has made me be able to handle many types of special needs. The needs are all different for each child I work with in my classroom. I think because of all I have done through out the years it has made me a patient and understanding person. I love working with special needs and have always felt such a connection with the kids I work with.
