I honestly have not had much experience taking care of a child with special needs. My own daughter was born with an immature breathing mechanism and an immature digestive system. I had to feed her in a special way and she had to sleep with a sleep apnea monitor on her for 10 months. I have taught autistic children, but with the two I taught I had an aid to help. I also taught children with various special needs and they were integrated into the classroom.
