My family is full of nurses and I always wanted to take that same approach but more personal so I took a job in an assisted living and it changed my life. There were people from ages 20-65 in the same establishment. Some suffered with mild autism, mental retardation, dementia and schizophrenia. All in all, I enjoyed working with them all and it showed me how people take things for granted and some people just want a little attention or a hug day to day.
