I have been working with children since I was about 11 years old. My earliest experience began when I was taking care of my younger cousins, ages 1 and three months, four nights a week. From there I started working for one of my neighbors helping their younger children everyday after school with homework, preparing snacks and dinner, keeping them entertained, and making sure they got picked up for their activities. I would continually watch my younger cousins, sometimes for 12 hours a day on the weekends. When I was 15, I started baby-sitting my neighbors children occasionally on the weekend; they had four girls aged seven, five, three, and one. I also would drive my other neighbor's children to their activities during the week. Most recently, I nannied part time, five days a week. I would help their children with homework, help them with dinner, and take them to their activities. I used to be a certified lifeguard, so I have taken CPR classes. I am only home for the summer.
