ME: An energetic, upbeat & somewhat nontraditional 48-year-old. Wife of 20+ years & mother of 2 wonderfully unique children (18-year-old daughter & 16-year-old son). Our family enjoys a urban farm lifestyle; complete with chickens & bees. EXPERIENCE: In my 8th year of working for an amazing family, with 8-year-old boy/boy twins & 4-year-old little bro, currently 5 days a week. (Looking to pick up semi-regular or one-time night/weekend jobs.) OTHER: Happy to assist and support personal family choices such as homemade baby food, cloth diapering, baby-wearing, etc. STYLE: Observe, talk & play! Screen free approach; except for possible onset of illness or other very rare exceptions. Avoid sugary treats in favor of fresh fruits & veggies. I am fun, but also firm, when necessary. CARE. Suzyn is fantastic. She is currently watching my one year old twin boys, and from the minute she started, my life got better. She is energetic, fun, reliable, nurturing, and creative. She handles the "craziness" of two 1-year olds with grace and ease. In addition, she is flexible to fit my family's schedule and needs. So she can stay helpful during nap time, she even makes the babies' meals, prepping food and looking up fun new recipes to try (while making sure the dietary restrictions I follow for them are kept). She will help out last minute and is on-time, easy to communicate with, and will do what she says she will do. We are so fortunate to have found Suzyn. Finding good child care is hard and pressure-filled -- she's wonderful and has been a great addition to the family!
