If you are looking for an experienced, dependable person to help with getting things accomplished considering hiring me. I have raised two children, both who are now adults. My son graduated in 2008 from Providence High School, attended Clemson University, graduated with an Engineering degree, and has a career in Atlanta, GA. My daughter graduated from Ardrey Kell High School, attended her freshman year as a soccer recruit at Virginia Tech, (yes, I was a serious soccer mom for many years) and is currently attending UNC Charlotte. I also have two nephews who I love to entertain and spend time with. My love for children goes beyond my family. I was a room mom, volunteer, and lunch buddy and tutor in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School for many years. After my daughter graduated I continued to volunteer for A Child's Place in CMS as a lunch buddy, mentor and tutor, which fueled my passion to help children succeed, and led me to continue my education. I am now currently pursuing a BA in Elementary Education at Queens University. In addition to being an active mother, I also worked in a family business for 20 years while my children attended school. Some of my responsibilities over the years were clerical duties, estimating jobs, bidding jobs, reading blue prints, shop-drawings using AutoCAD, payroll, bookkeeping, office manager, and eventually part owner. In 2009 I sold my share of the company to my brother.
