About Susan

I have been a senior home care provider for 8 years. I have a state certification as a Med Asst, but have not worked as one. I am also a state certified Activity Coordinator. I have a lot of energy and I am empathetic and a good listener who loves helping seniors and making a difference for them, enjoy being a companion, and doing what I can to make their day easier and more enjoyable. I have worked with many people, several on a regular basis for 4-8 months whom I've taken to doctors and lab appointments, pharmacies, pool therapy and aided in that, shopping for personal items as well as grocery shopping. I do light housekeeping, care for plants, make meals, help w/showering, change "Depends" pads (urine only), give body massages, helped with organizing medications and enjoy playing games and puzzles with them. I have worked at two agencies who were/are pleased with my work with seniors. I have worked on a minimum basis with dementia/Alzheimer's people.
