I graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Home Training Consultation. For a year, I did home visits for children from 0-3 years of age. I became interested in occupational therapy (OT) and I moved to New York City to attend Columbia University's program in OT. I recently retired as a pediatric occupational therapist in Brooklyn NY; I returned to Cleveland Heights. I've worked with children of all ages.. I use Dr. Stanley Greenspan's DIR/Floor time approach to engage a child by following his or her lead while setting limits on challenges. I am playful. I enjoy playing indoors and outdoors. Indoors, I like reading, doing arts and crafts, and helping with homework. Outdoors, I like walking and going to parks and playgrounds. I search for developmentally appropriate activities. CPR certified. References available upon request. Background check done in NYC for the Department of Education; willing to do another background check for Ohio.
