I have over 7 years of experience working with our senior population, Autistic and other clients with cognitive challenges. I have over 2 years experience as med tech working in senior/Dementia and Alzheimer's facilities. I have graduated from an accredited CNA school and have worked that roll over the last 2 years as well. As I start to pursue being a nurse, I've grown to realize my true calling is directly linked to healthcare. Being there for the sick and the disable allows me to operate in my gift. I am currently seeking a family or organization/facility that will allow me to give the best care to their loved one or clients/patients.     Well. I had been texting back and forth with Mr Steven for a few days and had asked if he would be available for a meet n greet. He said yes and we set a day and time for Friday March 26th at noon. Which happen to be the next day from when I had asked him. I replied that I thought that time and day was good but wanted to make sure no one else in the house had plans I wasn't a where of before I confirmed and said I'd get back with him soon. Well of course my phone went out and didn't get back on until after midnight but as soon as i had realized it was back up and running I sent him the okay that everyone was a available and sent my address. I see that it was read 614 an (day after we scheduled and same day of meeting) but still haven't heard from Mr Steven. So not sure if it was my unintentional late response (phone wouldn't turn on) or that I had told him not to be offended if B was in a bad mood as he has been having more seizures lately and it makes him mad or that he didn't realize B has seizures and decided not to peruse the position. But for whatever reason he hasn't responded to any texts via care.com app. Had hoped it would work out but guess not to be. Just would have been nice to know he wasn't coming so I Could go run errands earlier than was able too as I waited for him come by. A simple "no longer available" message would be respectful of other people's time.
