About Stephen

With over 15 years experience caring for those with Dementia, Alzheimer's and MS, I understand the importance of responding promptly and thoughtfully to the health and wellness needs of the client and of working with families to provide and coordinate care. When working for a client, I am wholly dedicated to that person and the family. In addition to daily care, including the "activities of daily living", I offer the family member engaged conversation and varied creative activities and outings, always following their personal interests and level of ability. As a credentialed body-worker I can provide holistic body work to increase comfort and ease pain, and can assist with physical, occupational and speech therapy exercises, as needed. I deeply value the bond that develops between the care giver and the one receiving care. I am fully dedicated to the client's safety and well being, and to their physical, mental and emotional health. Compassionate care is the basis of my work.
