This current summer, I am working at a camp for disabled children and adults with various disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, learning disabilities, and more. Before joining this camp, I had never worked with such beautiful people. I've learned to help them in every way possible such as helping them get dressed, transferring them from their wheelchairs to the toilet or into bed. There were endless nights where I was exhausted but waking up the next morning to my camper excited to start a new day kept me motivated. I have learned a lot from assisting both adults and children of all ages. Being given the opportunity to assist your loved one would do me such a great honor.
