Well basically my past senior experience was when I was working at a nursing home in Canton, MS, called Canton Manor. I really enjoyed working there. I worked there for 3 almost 4 years. I basically had to watch the patients will they took baths or showers, assist and help them dress, assist them while they cleaned their room, as well as talk to them when they were lonely and felt like didn't anyone care for them. My heart goes out to you and your family since this happened. I understand 100 percent of what you are going through, because my dad suffered 2 strokes a year apart from one another. And I was so shook up because I received the news while at work. But years later he is doing better, but one side of his body is not back to normal. He drags his leg and he's always out of breath. I often go walking with him because the doctor told him if he doesn't exercise he will go down. So I want to be the help that you are looking for, for your mom. Because right now I only babysit, when someone calls me. And I am available whenever needed.
