About Stephanie

I have a passion for teaching students and working one-on-one to help them learn difficult material. I recognize that problems involving numbers or scientific ideas are not everyone's strong suite, but my patience and ability to show how to break down problems has allowed my students understand the material and retain skills to succeed. While in graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for a number of chemistry and math courses as well as a mentor for students. For the past 5 years, I have been a part-time tutor for high school and college students in similar courses in addition to ACT/SAT test prep and assistance with college applications.
