During 2011 I was working as an assistant for one of my Chefs after I graduated Culinary school at Joliet Junior College in Illinois. He was an active member of many food and beverage organizations and traveled a lot, sometimes for a week or 2 at a time. Every time he left town he put his weimaraner, Hans in a local kennel. He lived about 10 minutes from me so I offered to take care of Hans. He then offered to allow me to stay in the guest room at his house while he was away. It gave me the opportunity to make sure Hans was fully taken care of while his Daddy was away. I was responsible for keeping an eye on the house, getting the mail, feeding the fish and giving Hans lots of love and attention which included feeding him breakfast and dinner, lots of doggy trips in the yard, occasional walks to the park, cleaning up a few accidents, baths and lots cuddling in his bed. While watching Hans I also kept up after myself and made sure the house looked the same way I had found it-doing the dishes and washing the sheets for the guest bed. I unfortunately had to say bye to Hans because my family recently moved to California for my dads job but am looking for new pets to love and care for. I take my pet sitting very to heart and will care for your pet the way I would want mine to be. Our family has 2 dogs- Dezi is a 4-year-old pug/terrier mix, Dexter is a 14-year-old beagle mix, Dory is my 5-year-old gray cockatiel and Vinny is my sister's male gerbil.
