About Stefanie

I have over 10 years of experience working in childcare. I spent every summer throughout high school and early college working as a camp counselor. After that, I had the amazing opportunity to work at a Montessori school, where I spent most of my time with kiddos from one to 3 years old. During this time, I regularly facilitated developmental activities. I also nannied for two awesome families throughout the rest of my undergraduate career at Wayne State University. My responsibilities as a Nanny included light housekeeping, meal prep, after-school pick-up, homework help, etc. Each job has made a positive impact on my life, and I am very grateful for the experience. I am currently in graduate school at Loyola, working to receive my Master's in Social Work. Much of the coursework in my program has focused on child development, particularly Social-Emotional Learning. When I'm not in school, I enjoy going on hikes with my dog, practicing yoga, and cooking new dishes.
