As a mother, Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant and babysitter, I have over 16 years of experience with all children and elderly with all types of needs. My passion is to help individuals feel they're important whether it's your special, amazing children, loving parent/family member or other additional needs or errands. I have an extensive background in healthcare and have worked in all areas from pediatrics, geriatrics, emergency room, neurology, orthopedics and more. I graduated high school a year early and began my college degree in Medical Assisting (when I also became a CNA/Certified Nursing Assistant, along the way). I have worked in long term care, a hospital setting and home health as well as caring for 2 family members while ill. I also care for my father, who has a brain injury, on a weekly basis. My children are 16 and 3. While becoming a mother young, it drove me to never give up. Having several family members with special needs and disabilities such as; Down syndrome, brain injury, stroke, etc., I love learning who that person is on an individual level. It helps me understand their personal needs. There's always an opportunity to brighten someone's day!
