I love children. I've been taking care of children for family and friends since I was 13. I've worked with children with special needs and I've worked with children at camps. Taking care of children is something I take joy in doing, I love being creative with them, playing games with and especially helping them grow. I've also been a private tutor for kids with and without disabilities from the ages 4-16. I can cook and clean. I grew up with discipline, so I understand and respect how a parent raises his or her child. I've never had a bad experience taking care of children, I take of them as they were my own. All my friends and family tell me that I have great maternal instincts. I've been in charge of putting on programs and activities. I also have a little brother whom I've watched and taken care of in the past years. I am very active, I love to run around and play games with children. I am also CPR certified and have great people skills. I am very friendly and I love being around people. I have a great background in helping people, I was once a peer counselor.
I am a student at Menlo College. Since high school, I have always been involved in many extra-curricular activities. I volunteered at Kaiser Hospital for 4 years. I was president of many clubs in high school, class officer my senior year and a part of the Associated Student Body. In college, I am an Ambassador & a Resident Assistant. Being a Resident Assistant gives me great experience in taking care of people, because I am in charge of a hall with 25+ residents whom come to me with all their needs and problems. I love arts and crafts, and I love being creative and making projects, which is great because I know how to keep children busy while engaging their minds and creativity.
